Sound Unreal Roadshow

The Sounds Unreal Roadshow are Rob Penzer and Alan Bartlett who think they founded the roadshow in 2002 (their memory isn’t quite what it used to be, a side affect of partying too hard).

They are both early remnants of the infamous Disco Real Show. They were protégés of Derek Real who trained them in the delicate art of entertaining others and playing good sounds loud and clear.

With at least 35 years experience each in the world of recorded music, hosting disco’s and parties, they have developed their own specific style of presentation, offering a very distinctive, varied and diverse selection of music.

They now present a regular monthly event at the Bottle Inn at Marshwood in Dorset.

With a growing reputation for hosting one off private parties, their main objective is to give everyone a good time while playing excellent music and providing a dynamic lightshow.

The Music For Life festival is one of the highlights of the Sounds Unreal Roadshow’s calendar. This will be the third year that they have provided the PA and sound system for the Music For Life event. Here they help to compare and present the days proceedings, doing their best to keep everything running smoothly.

Other events that the Sounds Unreal Roadshow have presented recently include the following, birthday parties, weddings, funerals (2), the Mohawks Biker rally and an outdoor party that lasted for 32 hours non stop.

Sounds Unreal Roadshow play recorded music including the best in heavy rock, folkrock, world music and the best in dance/trance. They have also played recordings of sacred music in a local church to demonstrate the early beginnings of all today’s music. This lasted from 5am to 9.30pm covering music development from 500 BC to present day.
