“What is Music 4 Life?” An Amazing 12 Hour Music Festival with a wide Variety of music - From Folk to Rock!!!!! This event was set up in 2007 by a group of local people from the village of Beer in East Devon. The objective being to raise money for various charities, focusing especially on those involved in cancer research and support. Each year two charities are chosen to receive the bulk of monies raised with many other local charities also benefiting. Throughout the year a number of fund raising events are held culminating in the main event – Music 4 Life at Beer The first event organised was a Relay for Life which raised a staggering £55,000 for Cancer Research UK – born from this success, was Music 4 Life, an annual 12 hour non stop music festival running from midday to midnight. The festival is staged by kind permission of Beer Albion Football Club at their ground with all the participating musicians giving their time and talent for FREE. Complimenting the festival a selection of hot and cold foods and beverages are available together with stalls offering entertainment and goods for sale, all-in-all adding up to a great day’s family entertainment.
